Bhoomika Ghaghada is a writer and independent researcher, born and raised in the UAE. Her work explores how gender, urban spaces, and media operate in the Gulf, and has appeared in Jadaliyya, Unootha, and Postscript Magazine. Her story “Too Much Freedom” won the Mudun Short Story Prize 2022 by Barjeel Art Foundation and Rusted Radishes. She has an MA in Media Studies from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, and is the Co-Founder of Gulf Creative Collective.
