Khushbu Sharma (she/her) is a doctoral researcher at the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She also works as a research affiliate with the Department of Sociological Studies at the University of Sheffield, UK. Her work focuses on gender- and honour-based violence, caste-mediated matrimony, and the politics of intimate relationships in India. She has been published widely on academic and popular forums, including The Telegraph, Outlook India, The Wire, The Quint, The Leaflet, LSE Review of Books, and Doing Sociology, among others.
