Malavika Suresh is an interdisciplinary researcher, artist and spoken word poet. Her research focuses on the relationship an individual has with themselves and how this relationship influences their interactions with the world. She has presented her research at multiple conferences across Canada, USA and Australia. As a poet, she has performed for various institutions across the UAE including the Sharjah Art Foundation and the Emirates Literature Foundation. Her most recent artistic project was commissioned by the Jameel Arts Center in Dubai, focusing on mental illness and health. She is an avid supporter of interdisciplinary studies and believes that it is a key to understanding the world a little better.
