Vaishnavi Manju Pal
Vaishnavi Manju Pal is a Gender Studies graduate from SOAS, University of London, and currently a lecturer and module leader of Social Science based in London. She is mostly busy running—both literally and figuratively—as a coping
mechanism for her ever-present anxiety about the impending doom of the
world as we know it, a theme she frequently explores in her research.
A Miranda House, University of Delhi alumna, when she isn’t writing or reading
about Gender and the future of Dalit assertion and politics—topics that
completely consume her—she is hoarding books she plans to read someday.
She can often be found talking about women in literature, poetry, feminist
revolutions, and her lovely students.A firm believer in the power of marginalized voices and their assertive spirit, Vaishnavi has served as the President of the SOAS Ambedkar Society. She envisions herself contributing to the cause in her own small ways—one class, one student, one paper, and one revolution at a time.
